Privacy Policy
Last updated · June 2026
This website is a personal journal. It is built to be simple and respectful of your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit or write to me, why it is collected, and how it is handled. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information you give me
The only information you actively provide is what you type into the contact form: your name, your email address, an optional subject line, and your message. This is used solely to read and reply to your enquiry. I do not create accounts, profiles, or mailing lists from it, and I do not sell or rent it to anyone.
2. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, basic technical data may be recorded by the server when a page is requested — for example your browser type, approximate region, and the pages you viewed. This is used only to keep the site secure and working well, and to understand general traffic patterns. It is not used to identify you personally.
3. Cookies and similar technology
A small session cookie is used to protect the contact form against abuse (for example, cross-site request forgery). The contact form also uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell humans apart from automated bots; reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies and is governed by Google’s privacy policy. The site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. How your message is handled
Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to me by email through a third-party email delivery service, which processes the message only to transmit it. Your details are used to reply to you and are kept only for as long as needed to do so. I do not share the content of your message with anyone else.
5. Third-party services
To deliver the experience above, the site relies on a small number of trusted third parties — namely an anti-bot service (Google reCAPTCHA) and an email delivery service. These providers process data on my behalf and under their own privacy terms. No other third parties receive your information.
6. Your choices and rights
You are never required to share anything to read this site. If you have written to me and would like your message and details removed, you may ask and I will delete them. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data, such as the right to access or correct it.
7. Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time as the site evolves. When it changes, the “last updated” date above will be revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
9. Contact
If you have any question about this policy or how your information is handled, please reach out through the contact page.
